I’m undecided. I think the acting was faultless but it was too political for me and not enough about the actual slaves which would have made it far more emotive and would have reinforced the political parts. It had many opportunities to end and it didn’t. I would say, if you’re super keen on American Politics/Politics in general, go see it. If not, I wouldn’t recommend paying money to go see it. But when it comes out on DVD watch it, cause it was very informative and taught me a lot that I didn’t already know. 

Also there were loads of amazing, incredible, stroke-able, cosy-looking, snuggle-worthy beards. Beard lovers? Take headphones but go see it. Fo shizzle.
